My Unconventional Family

Hi! Welcome to my family blog! I am Vicki and I'm mum to three beautiful but crazy kids!

I decided to start a blog after spending a long time on various social media sights and seeing so many posts off perfect families and perfect children and their perfect homes. It made me want to share the realities of my crazy home life. I love my children unconditionally but boy, they drive me insane! They fight, they argue, they cling and they moan constantly (haha!). 

I also felt that I have a lot to share to support other parents and families. My oldest son has a diagnosis of autism, my daughters both struggle with attachments to myself and my youngest daughter is incredibly shy and a bit of an introvert (ok, maybe I'm lying, she's a big introvert!)

I also wanted to touch base on some various important health topics. I live with a condition called Ankylosing Spondilitis which is a lifelong auto immune disease and I also have sadly had too much experience with dementia within my family and both of these are subjects are feeling strongly about and feel should be talked about openly and honestly.

I will be sharing with you, my 'bare all' honest and real accounts of My Unconventional Family. The trials and tribulations and downright crazy moments we experience most days! From the funniest moments to the honest truths of our family life.
